- Volunteer with Operation Save Abortion!
- Adopt-A-Clinic: Abortion Access Front works with clinics across the country to keep track of urgently needed items like underwear, snacks, and gift cards for patients traveling for care. You can select the clinic or fund you want to support and then purchase items that will be shipped to that clinic or fund directly.
- To destigmatize abortions:
- Discuss abortion with friends and family, say the word "abortion," and tell your story to destigmatize abortions.
- Have heart-to-heart conversations with people in your life about abortion and the work of abortion funds using these Heart-to-Heart Abortion Conversation tools and talking points.
- To participate in advocacy efforts:
- Contact your local PP organization to be plugged into local advocacy campaign efforts and community care work.
- Get involved in state and federal advocacy for state protections, constitutional amendments, and legislation.
- Tell Congress to pass legislation that protects fundamental reproductive rights and freedom
- Urge Congress to pass the EACH Act and repeal the Hyde Amendment
- Urge your governor and state legislators to protect and expand abortion rights
- Urge your Senators to pass the Women's Health Protection Act
- Tell the White House to make abortion care accessible to everyone, regardless of the state in which they reside.

Congress Must Expand the Child Tax Credit, a Powerful Tool Proven to Reduce Poverty

In the American Rescue Plan of 2021, Congress temporarily expanded the Child Tax Credit (CTC). This measure significantly reduced child poverty during a time of economic fallout and uncertainty, but the expansion expired at the end of 2021. As families continue to struggle to make ends meet, with inflation on the rise, Congress must urgently make the CTC expansion permanent in year-end tax legislation.

RAC-NY undertook a comprehensive and robust effort to educate our congregations and the broader community about Proposition 1 - the Clean Water, Clean Air, and Green Jobs Bond Act - and encourage a "Yes" vote on November 8. We were thrilled to join the "Vote Yes for Clean Water and Jobs Coalition," a wonderfully effective and very broad coalition of advocate agencies led by The Nature Conservancy.
