Postcarding with Reclaim Our Vote

The Every Voice, Every Vote campaign is made possible in part by the Leo and Libby Nevas Foundation.

Once again, the Reform Jewish Movement is partnering with the Center for Common Ground’s Reclaim Our Vote (ROV) Campaign to engage under-represented voters through postcarding efforts in key states. Reclaim Our Vote has identified 9 states in 2022 to target. These states all have a significant population of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) individuals but have low voter participation in these communities due to voter suppression.

Postcarding will take place between May and September, 2022. The deadline to order postcards is September 30, to ensure sufficient time for voters to receive their postcards and take the necessary action to register to vote early or on Election Day. Orders made after August 11 will ship with postcards to voters in Georgia. You will be instructed to write the postcards and hold onto them before putting them in the mail between October 10 and 20. Stay tuned for future states!

We have begun sending postcards for the General Election, starting with Virginia voters. Virginia postcards need to be mailed between September 1 and October 5. We anticipate having Georgia postcards available in mid-August, and more states after that.

Before ordering postcards or signing up as a Postcard Group Leader, please watch this brief Introduction to Reclaim Our Vote Postcarding Training Video. Note that this video is not publicly available so please do not share on social media.

There are two ways to get involved with postcarding as part of our Movement’s collaboration with ROV:

  1. Sign up on your own to request one or more kits.

  1. Sign up as a Postcard Group Leader to organizer postcarding efforts in your congregation, Jewish community, or personal network.

If you have additional questions, please check out our postcarding FAQs.
